London Reunion - Sunday 28th August 2011
Dear Old Girls,
Mrs Tyna Charter, St Mary's DSG Kloof School Principal, will be visiting London at end of this month, August and she would love to meet with those Old Girls who live in the area and who are able to join her.
We have provisionally booked the Blue Room of Cannizaro House (Wimbledon Common, SW19 4UE) at 2.00pm on Sunday, 28 August 2011 for High Tea - www.cannizarohouse.com. Please note that there will be a cost of £22,50 per person for the tea which, unfortunately, the school is unable to cover. The cost includes a lovely selection of both sweet and savory foods, as well as your choice of teas and coffees in a beautiful setting.
Please could you let Julie Lunn (class of '95) know as soon as possible, whether you are able to join Mrs Charter on the Sunday - julzlunn@gmail.com or 07794 600574. There is a measure of urgency as the school needs to confirm the booking.
If you are unable to make the organised event, but would be interested in meeting Tyna on Tuesday 30th August evening, please email us for arrangments at tricia@jelliman.co.za.
We look forward to seeing you there for a relaxing time of re-connection and sharing.
Kind regards
Tricia Jelliman (nee Britten-Kelly) and Julie Lunn (nee Woodley)

The Glitz & Glam Charity Ball 2011
In Association with Setzkorn Harvey Dodds & Associates and Shave Paint & Décor
Our third annual fundraiser will be held on 16th April 2011, at the school hall. Every year we make use of the beautifully decorated hall the evening after the Grade 12 Dance. Funds raised goes towards providing bursaries to the school. The function also benefits The Sunflower Fund whose sole purpose is to build the South African Bone Marrow Registry, to aid children and young adults with their fight against Leukaemia and other life-threatening blood disorders.
